ABC+ – Small Sardines in Brava Sauce

Pop the tin, the aroma starts to lift. Garlic, chilli, and something smoky, like a kitchen in Porto on a summery evening. The Brava sauce is thick and glossy, with garlic that’s been cooked just enough to lose its bite, the chilli isn’t overwhelming, it’s warm and fruity, roasted and toasted with a tang from the vinegar that makes every bite interesting.

Try them on crusty bread with a smear of ricotta to soften, or fold them into tacos with fresh coriander and lime. The sauce is rich but not heavy, lots of flavour to add to whatever you're serving them with. This tin is bold enough to stand alone, and like all the tins in the ABC+ range, it's pretty special.
