About Tenorio

In the remote Atlantic archipelago of the Azores, Tenorio tuna fillets carry forward a tradition begun by Francisco Rodriguez Tenório in 1880. His original "Tuna in escabeche" established a standard for quality that continues through Cofaco's premium line today.

What distinguishes these tins is the remarkably clean flavour of bonito tuna, hand-prepared by skilled workers who maintain century-old methods. Each fillet is packed with olive oil and a touch of salt, allowing the fish's natural richness to shine through.
