Conservas Yurrita - Cantabrian Anchovy Fillets In Olive Oil
These Cantabrian anchovy fillets from Yurrita develop remarkable depth over ten months of maturation, delivering distinctive intensity and texture. Selected at Spanish ports and prepared by hand, these anchovies maintain the standards that have defined this family business since 1867.

Founded in 1867 in Mutriku, Conservas Yurrita stands as the oldest tinned seafood producer in Spain's Basque Country. Each generation of this family business has maintained their dedication to traditional methods while embracing responsible fishing practices.
Their anchovies from the Cantabrian Sea are selected directly from fishing boats, then cured for up to 20 months before hand-filleting. Their white tuna (Bonito del Norte) from the Bay of Biscay is caught using traditional methods that respect marine sanctuaries.
About 100 people continue this craft today, creating seafood preserves with the assurance that comes only from five generations of expertise. MSC certification confirms their commitment to sustainability without compromising the quality that makes Yurrita exceptional.
